New York Red Bulls have finally released their new away kit, in collaboration with sports fashion designer Daniel Patrick. The new look is a departure from years past where the team leaned into the usual marketing colors of red and white. This yellow and green combination will remain with the team for two seasons.
Patrick launched his first line of clothing in 2012 and is based out of Los Angeles. The Australian designer is known for collaborating with high-profile NBA stars such as James Harden and Jimmy Butler.
"It was great working with the New York Red Bulls," said Patrick. "I was really excited to be a part of this project, to have your name on a professional team's jersey, that they will wear on the soccer pitches across the United States, amazing."
More than likely the kits will make their debut on February 25th when the team takes the field against Orlando City in Florida. The two teams have recent history with the Lions having eliminated New York on their way to their first ever US Open Cup title.
