New York Red Bulls defender Kyle Duncan will remain with the New York Red Bulls for the 2023 season as the club extended his loan to cover the year. Duncan is joining from K.V. Oostende in Belgium where he moved after playing with the MLS club in prior years.
"Kyle has shown his qualities over the last couple of years with us and has a lot of experience in MLS," said head coach Gerhard Struber. "We are happy to have him back with us."
Duncan made his first appearance with the New York Red Bulls in 2018 and became a fixture on the backline from 2019 to 2021. After the end of the season, Duncan departed for Europe but joined back up with the MLS club months later to continue his growth with his hometown club.
The defender has made a total of 81 appearances for the New York Red Bulls and looks to continue his consistency in 2023.
