Young Dutch striker Brian Brobbey is poised to return to Ajax after only three appearances according to Fabrizio Romano. The 19 year-old player couldn't make an impression on manger Jesse Marsch and was pulled off in the first half of his most recent appearance, showing little signs of trust from the team.
Brobbey was seen as a potential depth signing after Hwang Hee-Chan and Alexander Sorloth departed the club. Such a young signing was never expected to make an impact right way but the quick departure is an indication that the relationship never settled in.
Currently Leipzig are relying heavily on veteran Yussuf Poulsen as the back-up striker with Andre Silva finally rounding in to form as the team's first choice. Brobbey saw little chances of making the team and a return to Ajax could see him develop more before another big move around Europe.
