RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann may be departing the team should Tottenham Hotspur fire current manager Jose Mourinho. The news comes from the Telegraph as they have noted the London-based team's ownership showing great interest in the young Nagelsmann.
Tottenham has had a rough time under Mourinho, going from Champions League contenders to barely qualifying. All of this despite the team having one of he deeper rosters in the Premier League and funds to bring in players like Gareth Bale. Currently they sit in ninth place and could miss out on European competition completely.
Nagelsmann has become a major force working with far less than most managers. While at Hoffenheim, he battled to keep them from relegation and then took the club to Europe. With Leipzig he has managed a major overhaul which saw the likes of Timo Werner depart the club but the team is still pushing for the top of the Bundesliga.
It is not known whether the club will move forward or whether Nagelsmann will accept the position. Either way, the rumors are there and interest in the young German manager is growing.
